  • How HIV is Spread – info from The Body.
  • PrEP - PrEP means Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, and it’s the use of anti-HIV medications to keep HIV negative people from becoming infected. PrEP is approved by the FDA and has been shown to be safe and effective at preventing HIV infection.
  • PEP411.com  PEP stands for Post Exposure Prophylaxis. It is HIV medication, usually 3 or 4 pills, that you take after you think you may have been exposed to HIV. These medications, called antivirals, can prevent you from becoming infected with the HIV virus. In order for PEP to work, you have to take the medications every day for 4 weeks (28 days).

  • POZ Magazine - POZ is a magazine that chronicles the lives of people affected by HIV/AIDS. Its website, Poz.com, has daily HIV/AIDS news, treatment information, forums, blogs and personals.
